Hello, I don't know if any of you might be able to help me with this, but I'm researching guest speakers for the next VegFest here in Ottawa, Ontario. We'd like to have a speaker from each of the main perspectives on plant-based diets: ethics, health, and environment. We've got a couple ideas for the first two, but have yet to come up with a really good speaker for the environment talk. Does anyone have any ideas for speakers on the subject of agriculture and the environment, who are not too far from here? I've tried looking at university researchers and authors of several publications, but haven't found anyone local. We're limited by a fairly small budget, but a short (<500 miles) flight should be okay. Anyway, I haven't exhausted all avenues, but I thought if someone had a lead, it might save me a lot of time.
