Farm Sanctuary is not just a sanctuary for four-footed animals, it's a sanctuary for us too. Because it is an oasis, a place that symbolizes all that we wish the world was, but isn't. It's relaxing, most of all peaceful, restorative, within it's borders there is only kindness, none of the absurd cruelty that seems to permeate every corner of the globe. I love that place, my favorite is the California shelter, but I've been to both. My sponsor pig, Rosa, is at the California shelter. That woman needs to watch the John Robbins video on "is it wrong to eat animals?" It's enough to make anyone saying such things ashamed of themselves.
