Couple of thoughts.

First, if vegheads are guilty of anything, it's worrying too much about their health (including me!) Everybody gets stuff as they get older (again, including me!), decay is inherent in the human condition. That said, I would never eat animal products because some article says veggies don't get enough protein. That's such an outdated idea! The only veggies that don't get enough nutrients are junkfood vegheads, and most of us do our best to eat quality REAL food!

Secondly, I can honestly say that since I changed my diet 15 years ago I quit having stomachaches, used to get them a lot, get sick a lot less, really, truly, now I get maybe a cold every five to 10 years and I used to get at least one every season.

Thirdly, I think the world is already overpopulated so I won't go further on the infertility issue. I don't think I believe that anyway.

Fourthly, I think that being veg rocks. Do you know my daughter's friend didn't know there was such a thing as rice pudding, it occurred to me that she probably didn't know any other rice existed except what's in a Taco Bell burrito. I proceeded to tell her about japonica rice, basmati rice, short grain dessert rice, forbidden rice, she looked at me like I had three heads. Being veg exposes you to so much more variety than the SAD diet does! It's great! Even if I didn't live as long, what a great way to live!
