What is wrong with these people? They want to stop people from throwing fish around in the Seattle markets, as a fairly evolved vegan I see their point but I think that point is far beyond the awareness of most mainstream people. NOW they want fireworks stopped because they scare animals. (We could ask the same of nature,to stop thunder and earthquakes, I guess). Why can't PETA use their immense power for real change instead of spending energy on stuff that only gives ammunition and an excuse to mainstream people? Should we write them a collective letter begging them to use their sensibilities in a productive way? So annoying to have to defend one's beliefs amongst such judgment errors, IMO, we vegans really get the raw end when people use this against us.
