So this morning I went out to get something for lunch out of the freezer and it was all THAWED OUT, everything, all the food in there. It was about the temperature of a refrigerator, apparently the door was left slightly ajar. There is so much food in there, tempeh, and soy ice cream, and riblets and blueberries and on and on, probably $300 worth of food. Should I just throw everything out? Such a shame, do you suppose if you thaw something in the fridge and then refreeze it it's OK to eat? My gut tells me I shoudl throw everything away but what a shameful waste, and I'm not exactly flush right now to replace it all.
