I have four cats. Originally I had two cats who are sisters and then I added first one and then another stray. Yes, it took time for them to get used to each other, but they did and they all frequently sleep together now. If you are out a lot, such as at work, it may be nice to have a companion for your cat. Also, there are so many cats in need of a good home.
