It was in a veg life magazine, I believe, or one of my magazines. To tell you the truth, I think it had somewhat too much fat in it, but here's the recipe as I remember it, I made it last night:

4 cups sliced rhubarb
4 cups sliced strawberries
1 t. lemon juice
lemon zest from one lemon
1/4 cup cornstarch
2/3 cup sugar

Mix all that together and put into 9x13 pan


3/4 cup flour, said to use white but I used whole wheat
3/4 cup oats
1 cup chopped pecans
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 t. cinnamon

Mix together and add 6 T Earth balance or similar, personally I think you could almost eliminate this and have a good dish without all that fat but . . . whatever.

Mix earth balance in with your hands, bake 375 for 40 minutes.

The only objection I have to using rhubarb is the amount of sugar to make it palatable, I only use rhubarb once in a while for that reason.
It's good though, make adjustments as you see fit.
