Hi, Ceejay. Thank you for stopping by. I'm delighted that you have enjoyed the first edition of Vegan Vittles! To answer your question, quite a few of your favorites are in the new book, but not all of them. The first edition is now out of print, so hang on to it!! That said, there are a LOT of new recipes in the second edition, and some of the old standards have been updated and/or tweaked a bit. In addition, there is an completely new foreword (by Gene Baur) and introductory material, new veganisms, all new animal stories, and beautiful, artist-rendered drawings of the actual animals whose stories are presented. Not to mention a gorgeous new layout and design! So is it worth having both books? Yes, absolutely! :-) Thanks again for your questions, Ceejay! ~Jo
