OH U.J. I am so so sorry about what you are going thru. I know how much you love your animals and how deeply you care for them. It was handled very inappropriately and deep hurt feelings are the result. I hope you can take small comfort (I know how hard it is to find ANY comfort when you lose a beloved pet but pls pls try) in knowing how much your animals were loved and that so so many animals in this world dont know the smallest comfort, a caring touch, a full belly and a warm bed. Your Mecca was so so lucky in life...lucky to have YOU that loved her. It will take time and forgiveness to face your family, just take it slow and know that Mecca's love and memory can guide you.
