Hello, Joanna. Yes, man-made materials means nonleather. Usually manufacturers like to flaunt it when their products are made of leather, so often there is a tag to that effect (though not always!). When a product tag states "mad-made materials," as long as it refers to the entire product, the item should be vegan.
