I have made this a couple of times now and it is pretty darn tasty :) For fans of wild rice, this is a good recipe and you can add/subtract veggies (the original recipe I found only called for mushrooms - boring). 1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked Preparation: In a large skillet, sautee the onions and garlic until onions are brown and carmelized, about 8 minutes. Add veggies and spices and cook for another 5 or 10 minutes, adding more oil or a little bit of broth if needed. Add the cooked rice, fresh parsley and almonds, and stir well to combine. Cook for another minute or two, until everything is just heated through. LisaB
