Subject: Low iron and low blood sugar...

It's already been confirmed that I am usually low in iron (even when I was omni) and I also have low blood sugar. Could these be the reason behind the once a month cravings I deal with for un-vegan products? It seems almost uncontrollable. I start feeling weak, tired, kinda jittery and SUPER cranky. I'm wondering what things I could do to help balance out whatever I'm lacking. It seems that the cravings are usually just before my cycle. It's so difficult to deal with and to top it off I think those (non-vegans) around me are convinced that animal products are the solution :-/ Any ideas would be appreciated!
