Subject: Apartment Building Sold - Must Move!
Date: April 19, 2008 at 9:56 pm PST

Weird site but fun too! I didn't even read anything yet but man this
sure is an unusual type of message board. Anyways basically we just got
a notice that we have to leave, all the tenants did. It seems the
building has been sold to a new landlord and he wants us out so they can
do renovations. Unfortunately for him the renovations he's talking about
already took place long before he bought it so we know the real reason.
He thinks this is under-priced and wants everyone to leave because he
knows 1200 a month for a 2 bedroom (Burbank, CA) is a good deal. He will
probably raise the rent to something like 1800 which would justify
kicking everyone out for a period of time.

I feel sick though because I just came out here from Illinois to escape
my insane father and was hoping for some quiet peaceful time. My sister
moved here and her bf, they had alot of stuff too! So basically this
letter said some nonsense about helping us move, then of course it goes
on to talk about letting us come back if we meet the requirements for
renting it! I laughed myself silly at that, it's almost certain they
plan a major price hike, what a trip.

I just wonder whether it'll be 30 days, 60 days, or 90 days. But we have
to wonder why they couldn't merely do renovations themselves if they
were going to make it 90 days. I mean let's face it the complex was
renovated alot already so what would require everyone to leave? hahaha

In my fantasy's I make them pay by hurting them, but then I realize that
humanity is like this, money is all important. Of course when the middle
class is eliminated because of a weak economy and educational system
let's see how funny the landlord thinks it is then when nobody can pay
the new rent!

Well that's all cherrio & thanks!
