Subject:	Moving to the pacific northwest soon!

Greetings and salutations! I've been a vegetarian for 4 years after
being inspired b a friend that recommended the book Diet for a new
America. I read it aloud- to my husband- we cried, and then both
decided to become vegetarians... right then and there.I feel very
strongly about animal rights. We have recently decided to become
Vegans. We have son that will be 2 in October, we have been raising
him vegetarian. Now we are changing his diet to vegan as well. I'm
looking forward to learning more about Veganism!I must say it's very
lonely being a vegan in the south, where you are viewed as quite
strange for choosing not to eat dead animals. We have decided to
relocate to a part of the country that is more veg friendly. I'm glad
to have found this on line community.
