I didn't start out intending to go vegan, or even vegetarian but I've been cooking only vegan
meals for the last month and I don't miss meat. I don't miss cheese ( this actually started
because I discovered I can no longer tolerate dairy ) in the least, I don't miss eggs and I
haven't purchase honey for about a year. I got a pile of vegan cookbooks at the library last
week and have been trying out actual recipes ( had just been cooking different legumes and
grains before then ) and am having so much fun trying new things. I also find that I love
eating this way. It feels so much more natural than eating meat and dairy. My only problem
is....I am married to an occasional meat eater and I have a 4 1/2 year old and 3 year old. The
3 year old doesn't eat meat but the ONLY protein he will eat is yogurt and cottage cheese.
And the yogurt MUST be yoplait vanilla ( he calls it tree yogurt ). The 4 1/2 year old is a
pretty adventurous eater but I am just stumped about what to do w/ the 3 year old. What
the heck am I going to feed that little twerp?
