Here's a brief synopsis of where I am from and who I am:
My actual name is Justin. I was born in Maryland in 1977. I moved to
Minneapolis in 2002 to join a contemporary ballet company. I make my
living primarily as a dancer for this company, but I also work as a
freelance teacher and choreographer.

I became interested in animal rights around the same time that I moved
to Minneapolis, and I went vegan in July of that year. As an artist, I
would love to explore how to inspire others to live compassionately
through my work. For now, I strive to learn more about humane
education and to be a voice for the animals whenever possible.

For about 7 years, I have practiced Siddha Yoga Meditation, and I have
recently become more involved at the center here in Minneapolis.

In addition to yoga, I enjoy singing, songwriting, cooking, gardening,
and writing. Despite the nature of my career, I have a inclination to
live a domestic lifestyle, taking care of my home and my two cats,
Lewis and Pearl. However, I do appreciate travelling to perform in
other places and to experience other lands and other cultures.

I am very thankful have found Jo's books and discussion board, all of
which have been a source of joy and inspiration to me.
