I'm Nika. Here are some things about me, in my favorite form of writing:
short paragraphs.

Currently I am a usability consultant, and I spend my days evaluating
web sites to determine how useful and enjoyable they are. I am returning
to school to obtain a MS in Human-Computer Interaction. I am a nerd,
yes. I like programming, truth trees, and Photoshop.

I have been exploring veganism for over 5 years, and have been
participating in discussions here for almost as long.

I live directly between Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC and I can tell
you several dozen places to get a good vegan meal here. In fact, I may
or may not schedule my travel plans around where I'm going to eat each
of my meals. Yum, food. If you're coming to the area, ask me for tips!

One of my favorite topics is vegan beauty products. I love lipstick and
hairdye and good-smelling shampoo. I also like to help out with kitty
rescue, and I LOVE coming up with sarcastic responses to stupid
anti-vegan questions.

And, in case you were wondering: yes, the photograph of me was taken in
my beautiful (haha) bathroom. Bathrooms offer great lighting, and a
conversation-starting backdrop.
