In my picture, you can see me holding a pair of headphones. Why
exactly is it called a pair of headphones? No-one ever speaks of a
singular headphone, nor have I been able to determine how to ask for
multiple sets ("May I have some headphoneses?"). At any rate, that's
the tool of my trade, medical transcription, aka Professional
Parroting. I have a BA in linguistic anthropology (helpful in
deciphering Doctorspeak) and am back in school studying Environmental
Science. I will definitely earn my BS, oh yes. Anyway, I live in New
Orleans, home of potholes, booze, and humorous corruption.
