on these discussion boards, I have finally come back to the
wonderfulness that is vegsource.com!
been a vegan for about 5 years now, though it feels like much longer.
I have *never* regretted the decision. The only drawbacks have been
the peculiarities of travel diets (as a globe-trotting musician) and
the unmitigated desire for real pizza (all praise due to Follow Your
Heart's vegan cheese!!!)
the other parents out there...) 11 month old boy, with whom I have the
fortune to share a birthday. He has proven to be a major influence in
my continuing decisions to live a life with compassion for all beings -
a favor which I hope he will extend to his father's aching back - who
knew a vegan baby would grow so big so fast!?!
new friends in the process!
