Greeting: Dear friends

Wow what a great group of people coming together here. I am happy to be
a part of it now. I am a 23 yr old guy from Fort Wayne Indiana. And I
have decided to become vegan after reading some of John Robbins books,
and hearing of the torture done to animals. I feel very strongly about
that and conserving/protecting the planet. I am ajunior at Audobon
Expedition Institute in Environmental studies, and want to work at an
emotional growth school for abused children in Idaho after school. I
have been pretty shy much of my life and that has gotten in the way at
times of doing the things I really want. If anyone has advice with that
or veganism I appreciate it.
