vegetarian and vegan off-and-on since my teenage years. I spent many
years being a "part-time vegan", following the fasting calendar of the
Eastern Orthodox church. After the last Nativity fast I discovered
that the desire to "break the fast" and return to eating meat/dairy had
disappeared. I have now rededicated myself to veganism full-time.
