I'm 50+ years old and just became vegan in Jan. 99. My husband
(non-veg) and I live in CT and just adopted an ex-racing greyhound named
Goodbar (kibble eater). I also have two grown children. I find the vegan
life style suits both my body and mind, as I'm a passionate
nature/animal lover. Hiking, nature walks, old rock & roll, jazz,
classical music, cooking, xcountry skiing, sailing, canoeing (and
anything that takes me outdoors) are my favorite things. Recently, I've
started yoga again and have been exploring Buddhism. I really love
Joanne's books and recipes, as well as all your posts.......
