Hello all,

I am very fond of this board. I know a couple of vegans, but none that I am close to, and VegSource is such a great sounding board for questions and ideas, and a nice escape for a couple of minutes when work gets overwhelming.

I'm Mary, Virgo '73. Vegan for 7+ years, lacto veg two years prior to that. I live in San Francisco. Work in the Silicon Valley in Employee Relations. No pets as I have no time. Had a turtle once...ran away.

I believe that logic, compassion and a sense of humor are the best traits a person can have, vegan or not. A sense of fairness too...

I'm into old and new punk from Iggy, the Damned, to Murder City Devils, Zeke, REO Speedealer...I also like a lot of old/new metal...and before I moved back to SF I deejayed at 6 different radio stations to earn a living, so I'm pretty broad.

If anyone is coming to SF-- I'm always available for lunch! I met Erin and Jennye that way...too much fun!
