Hello :) Allow me to introduce myself. I will soon be 35 years old. I'm
happily married, and the proud mother of an 8 year old son. My son is a
lifelong vegan. My husband and I have been vegan for approximately 8
1/2 years. One night my husband and I read, "Diet for a New America" by
John Robbins. That was the day we gave up meat, eggs, and dairy and
dedicated ourselves to a more compassionate lifestyle. Although I'd
always been an advocate for abused animals, I never had a clue that I
was partaking in the abuse by nothing more than eating! I'll never go
back :)

I have many dogs and cats. They were all once stays, or
neglected/abused. My property looks like an animal refuge because-
well, it is :) One of the main reasons I was placed on Earth was to
rescue and rehabilitate stray & abused animals. There's never been any
question of that. It's simply where my heart leads me.

I'm proud to be a part of VegSource, and acquainted with so many
compassionate, loving people.
