| Courageous stand | ||

Thank you for taking your timely and courageous stand in this very public
manner. Your sensitive handling of such a potentially controversial but very
important topic should be appreciated by everyone regardless of individual
political points of view.
Reading some of the responses, however, has me concerned. Political
differences here are, as everywhere, inevitable. That said, let's choose to
embrace and honor our right to independent thought. Let's raise the bar a
notch and find ways express ourselves in a positive, constructive manner that
honors and respects each other.
As for me? I am voting for the Obama/Biden ticket. I believe it best
represents what is most urgently needed in our country and the world right
now.
