Although I sincerely hope that Scully accepted the speech writing position just to sabotage Sarah's speeches, I kind of doubt that was his intention. There was a reason, or maybe two, and maybe we will eventually hear of one of them.
Times are changing and I am hoping everyone will have to become vegetarians in the very near future. Republicans may make Animal Abuse and Animal killing as a sin low on the reason list but they cannot deny that meat production is hurting the earth and the health of human beings.
It will be great to see the day that Animals have RIGHTS !
