If you put up political remarks, be prepared to back them with facts. Is that asking too much? Instead, all the wingers on here appear to do is hit and run - they throw out their Rush/Hannity talking points and then disappear. (Or they threaten to disappear. I'm sure they still lurk.)
Why are they so afraid of discourse? Isn't that the underpinning of a democracy like ours? Why can't they make logical arguments to back up their positions?
I don't care whether anybody stays here or leaves. There are probably not even a dozen people now reading this sub-forum on politics. So who really cares?
I participate on political forums (?fora) where the wingers are much more intellectual than the knuckledraggers I've seen here. They at least try to defend their positions. (It's not easy for them, given that their positions are factually bankrupt, but at least they try.) They don't run and hide and say "I'm such a victim" when their positions are questioned.
BTW, the "victim" mentality is what wingers usually blame the libs of doing, isn't it? But once they get backed up against the wall, they play the victim card. Sheesh. What a bunch of losers.
