while i agree with you that it isn't polite to use terms like 'bimbo' or 'moron' because they suggest a sexist or intellect slant or 'dog' because it is unkind to canines (as well as being absurd), it is pretty difficult to attribute terms like 'smart','strong' and 'feisty' to palin at this stage.

i think her foreign policy experience justification 'we can see russia' is really, really weird and the fact that she keeps using it is even stranger. also, it is apparent that she not only hasn't done her homework, but is making unprecedented guffaws like calling kissinger

i don't think she knows what she is doing anymore (though she probably did while she was engaged in corrupt activities up in alaska).

i am not sure she 'knows who she is' either. having been forced into a role in the mccain campaign for so long, i think she has lost her confidence. i say this because she stumbles as she speaks now and her voice is much weaker than a month ago. if you look at her walk and posture, you can see her shoulders are somewhat hunched over.

i am not displaying any sympathies since i have none for animal killers, but i don't think you are correct in claiming that her critics are subscribing to 'hatred'. i think they are people who have had enough of the rightwingnut approach that has plagued not only america, but has also destroyed the grand old party - because it is no longer 'grand' and has all but lost its former 'old' values.
