Did you even see the interview? The broad was completely incoherent. She wasn't making any sense. It would have been more intelligible if she HAD spoken in "tongues." She couldn't even manage softballs being thrown at her by Katie effing Couric, for pete sake. It's not like it was an interview with Bernanke asking her esoteric questions about economic policy and the bailout. She was asked, very clearly, what she thought of this bailout when millions are losing their homes, health care, etc. And she completely dropped the ball. Nothing she said made sense. It was a **softball** question. The bailout is the reason McCain crapped his pants and ran another weird Hail Mary and "canceled" his campaign. It's all anybody is talking about. The U.S. economy could very well go into a tailspin. And the bimbo had not one coherent word to say about it. Not one. And Schmidt knows that if he puts her up against Biden, their entire campaign is TOAST. Toast. My dog would do a better job debating Biden than this Alaskan assclown. That's what this whole bailout ploy is by McC. It's not "country first." It's "campaign first." He's distracting us with his bailout/"Warshington" crap while this Couric interview runs. That, plus I'm now reading the McC campaign could be running out of money and "canceling" the campaign is one way to stall it off a little while. They simply can't compete with the Obama campaign, which is practically printing money at this point. McCain loses no matter what he does. I just don't see the bailout thing as a win for him. If he can't get the Cons to vote on it by tomorrow, he either goes to the debate with his tail between his legs, or he is a no-show. In which case, it's game over. McC no-show at debate = Obama landslide. It looks weak. If McC pulls out the votes on the bailout bill, he'll be voting on it too, supposedly (although don't underestimate his desire to pull the rug out from under his own party members, either). In which case, Obama will also be voting for it, so it's a wash because they will have both supported it. Try to keep up. McC is lurching from hail mary pass to hail mary pass in an effort to get the upper hand from Obama and IT'S NOT WORKING. Schmidt must be seeing some pretty dismal internal polling for them to be making these kinds of decisions in the campaign.
