This piece by Glenn Greenwald on Palin's being shielded from the media is a great read of what's happening. It truly has become comical how protected Palin has become from even innocuous questions from the press.

We are now at the point where protecting Palin as much as they are doing is working against the McCain campaign from the point of view the media narrative. Yet, McCain & Co. keep hiding her. Why?
Is she really that bad?

As I stated in my other post, I think Palin is just an intellectual lightweight; an incurious. I don't think she has the ability for nuance, or looking at different points of view, relying on objective evidence, and then making conclusions based on that evidence.

And that's pretty frightening. Having somebody like Palin so close to the presidency is laughable.
