He spoke loud and clear when he made a decision to put his political ideologies above all else. He chose the role of pandering mouthpiece for a woman who embodies the absolute worst of humanity. The kind of individual who has brought this planet to the very edge of destruction, based on an all-too-common type of speciesist arrogance [which Scully highlighted magnificently in the Palin speech]. One which proves that her brand of human being -- without empathy, compassion or the wisdom to appreciate their importance -- uses to promulgate a particularly poisonous and deadly type of fascist bias -- against nature. This is indicative of what the GOP stands for as a movement. Myopic, intolerant, hate-mongerers showing an absolute contempt, and yes, even FEAR, of the free exchange of beliefs and ideas within our society. This is the essence of fascism. Mr. Scully, you CANNOT serve two masters. You either stand for the principles of a peaceful and compassionate world which helps to liberate, protect, embrace and respect non-humans--and ALL beings/life forms--or you can continue to promote and support those bent on systematically shutting down every personal freedom we have; while rapaciously marching toward the end goal of an Orwellian nightmare in which a dissenting opinion will cost individuals' their very lives.
