hi, so as a rule vegans dont eat meat, eggs, or dairy products and it means that most of theyre food is raw. but you need to make sure you get enough protein by eating things like beans -there are many different kinds of beans to choose from that u should include in your diet. soy beans are usualy a big part in vegan diets since its the main ingredient in so many natural food products (soy sauce, soy burgers, soy milk, soy ice cream...and on and on and on lol) which is good and helpful but u dont want to over do it! there are alternatives to these too-, also different kinds of nuts and seeds, quinoa, all grains and fruits and vegitables have some protein in them, especialy sweet potatoes, but make sure these things are not cooked too much. also, even though being a vegan means keeping the sugar and salt levels low, u need to ALWAYS check the ingredients on the box and try not to drink or eat too many things with artificial sweeteners, theyr almost worse than sugar itself. so make sure u get Stevia, its a natural plant sweetener and u can find it in almost every natural foods grocery store and even sometimes in the natural foods section in a regular store. so im sure ur thinking "wow this is way too complicated" lol but ive been vegitarian my whole life and when i got a little older i became mostly vegan, im 19 now and am still trying to stay vegan because i feel better that way. it gets easier and id be happy to help u with any questions u have, just email me :) .
