Did you know? Kosher meat comes from the same abusive factory farms as other meats. There are no standards to ensure that kosher slaughter is any less cruel than conventional slaughter. In some instances, it's been shown to be much worse. PETA (The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has recently launched an excellent resource for all things Humane and Kosher.
