This is what I do for a "sugar free" recipe fruit preserves. Today I will be making fig.

Place washed and halved figs in food processor and coarsely chop. I use 6 plus cups of fruit.
Place in a large heavy pot. To this add the juice of 1/2 lemon and 2 cups of Xylitol. If this is not sweet enough for my taste, I add a tiny bit of Stevia until it is just right.

Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for about 20 min. stirring constantly until the jam is thick. Pack in clean hot jars and process for 10 minutes.

Blueberries do not need lemon and do not need to be chopped. I just mash those a little to get some juice going while the Xylitol dissolves. Xylitol is acceptable for type 2 diabetes and is a bacterial inhibitor. Good news for our teeth!

If you want absolutely NOTHING added to your fruit, then try apple juice concentrate undiluted.
