I also have candida. My naturalpath has suggested that i eat a little
sweet potato because it is so rich in vitamins and minerals.
I have been developing recipes for 4 years now and i have found
that to beat the candida symptoms, it is good to remember that
you can eat a fruit serving or a sweet potato but make sure it isn't
in the same day. also it's a good idea to put a few days between
fruits and vegetables that are especially high in sugars. so for
instance if i have baked sweet potato on monday, i don't eat it
again until friday. it has helped me tremendously. I also found that
tomatoes are a fruit and so i don't eat spagetti sauce anymore, i
make a sauce out of diced tomatoes. spagetti sauce is a high
concentration of tomatoes. cheers, jane
