I have a question. It concerns my Dad. Hes 70 and has been diagnosed with diabetes for 5 years now. Type 2, and is taking actrapid; http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3972-s-ACTRAPID-INSULIN.aspx . Are there any side effects with it…..like causing slurred speech or sluggishness? Sometimes when I speak with him via phone he seems to be sleepy and his speech seems to be a little slurred and he is as if not listening…..almost like drunkards or drug addicts; my dad never drinks. When I ask him what's going on or how he is doing, he'll mention he just took his meds and is "relaxing". He is in this way only when he has just taken his medicine. Is this a coincidence, or is this a side effect?
