"Candy" Take some peanut butter or almond butter. Mix in some unsweetened coconut and finely chopped nuts. Keep adding coconut and nuts until you get a mixture that you can form into small balls (about 1" diameter). Roll the stuff into balls, and then roll the balls into more coconut or nuts. Put into a container in the fridge. This is so nutritious and satisfying, you will soon find yourself reaching for a piece of it instead of candy. Use different types of nut butter and different types of nuts, for variety. You can also add some raisins or finely chopped dried fruit.
