First off, why the hell are they so expensive? The supermarket only had nuts that were covered in salt, and none that were raw. At the health food store they had a raw cashews and shelled peanuts, but I decided to go with roasted unsalted Walnuts. Is this ok? Do they have to be raw? I was just told that cashews are not a nuts, but a fruit, which is news to me. Is that true? If so, should they be avoided? Thanks.
