don't your choices depend on what your ethics are? why not explore what that means to you, maybe by continuing to read others' perspective and motivations online and in print. (organic consumers association is a good resource for me of some of the things i want to avoid supporting...) if one of your motivations is animal welfare, i encourage you first of all to consider not wasting those things that you already have in your home by throwing away soaps or similar items; but consider finding healthy organic replacements for when they run out. if you're seeking vitality and health of yourself and the planet, why not search for resources, inspiration, and direction on that topic? raw food discussion has been a nice direction for me. best wishes and enjoy!
