I'm posting this here instead of in the new veggies board because I'm more stressed out than anything.

I decided to go veg, and so I did. I became a vegetarian about a month ago, and became a vegan a whopping three days ago. While I had researched the switch to veganism, I had no idea how overwhelming it is at first! Nothing I own is vegan, from my food to my household products to my car. So I have two questions.

1.) Is it ok to call myself vegan while I switch over? I adhere to a strict vegan diet, which is getting better every day, less and less mistakes like gluten and sugar. But I still own many many products that need to be replaced, like makeup and hand soap. Am I in the clear for a bit while these are being replaced? What do you suggest to make this easier?

2.) My car, it has a leather interior. It's a fantastic car, and I don't want to sell it. What would YOU do in this situation?

Adding to all this, I'm the lone vegan in my house, making it even more difficult, arrrg!
