I'm boarderline vegan as well, for moral and health reasons. I know how hard it must be to be faced with this issue.
But the truth is, veganism and vegetarianism come into play on moral reasons because although eating meat may be a natural thing for modern-day humans, there are more humane ways of living without having to resort to the violence. However, in your situation, you may not have the luxury to avoid it completely. You have to think about your health first. After all, if you don't have your health and strength, what good in the world can you really do?
As far as health is concerned, certain types of fish have higher or lower toxins (like mercury) than others. There are charts and such out there that have the average content levels.
Just remember, this is for your health. Should you choose to start eating fish, don't let anyone (including yourself) hold it against you.
