I'm 13 years old and am the only vegetarian in my entire family. I havent touched meat in about 7 months and my family has always bugged me about it because they're all BIG meat eaters. I've explained to them that its my own conscience decision not to eat animals [because I cannot stand the slaughter of animals], I've shared with them some of the health risks of consuming meat, and I don't pressure them into changing their diet. Yet they still pesture me and call me all sorts of names because "it's already dead, why does it matter?", "if you don't eat it then it'll go to waste", "thats why God put animals on this earth". I dont know, maybe they just need more time to get used to me being different from them...but its just really putting me under alot of stress for some reason.
