I finally am going Vegan. It is a lot easier than I thought it would be! My body seems to have a natural affinity to eat veggies and fruits and a natural incapacity to digest animal mean and animal products. Its both enlightening and disheartening because it took me so long to become vegan. I let peer pressure get me so pro-meat that even though it made me physically ill and even though I have a huge empathy and understanding with animals, I hate them anyways. Now my Partner and I are Vegan (He is lacto-veg is trying to give up milk) And not my skin is clearer, I am healthier, I am regular! and my Degenerative Disc and Cord Disease is even benefitting because of all the weight I am dropping. The only concern my doctor has is that I get enough calcium. I am going to start taking calcium supplements on top of eating calcium rich veggies. But even with that concern he told me he believes the Vegan diet to be one of the EASIEST and healthiest diets for any woman of childrbearing age to be on.
