Subject:	Post Trauma Surgical Reality

I need some inspiration from anyone who's suffered an injury such as mine and has been able to walk again really well!! 7 months ago I survived a fatal head on collision. Multiple fractures healed but the consequence to a crushed and reconstructed right knee has led me recently to more surgery of a yucky type: arthroscopy, lysis (cutting) of scar tissue, and manipulation (forcible bending of the knee). I suffer from much pain, bruising, and extreme stiffness. I'm facing many more months to be able to walk in, I hope, a fairly normal way. Mon.-Fri.,I'm in intensive rehab at a local hospital. As I said, I need inspiration which is encouragement! Thanks if you can help.
