It is stated that much of the slaughter animals suffer these days in the hands of men are a result of ancient bad karma. But the point is that when one ingresses in the spiritual path one starts to liberate oneself from the karma law. The most explicit aspect of the Gospels, put in my words, is teaching the law of the soul. Living forgiveness, 'here and now' under God's mercy.
