peace upon you and blessings,

I just had to post this. People can easily become arrogant to the truth around them. at one point in my life I dis-believed in a creator, in the father or the father-mother of the universe. I was blind. Thankfully this period did not last this long in my life. It was when I became 'existentialist' or drifted, and sought out only physical pleasure, living one day at a time, living it up before I die. Then I guess I realized that I will in fact die, and I should be aware and be more humble about myself and my "karma"- the health and condition of my soul. I realized I will die, and at about this time I got turned on to a book that turned me on to vegetarianism and raw foodism (though the author himself was not 100 percent). From diet (and lifestyle changes) I feel I both expanded the quantity and the quality of my life, and at the same time I became even more creator- conscious.

I guess what I am saying is I find it hard to believe someone so learned as dawkins can be so flippantly arrogant and so blind. if we are just organized matter- who created matter? There are mysteries to be sure, to be true. I do not understand all the mysteries but I am humble to them. Even when I didn't believe, I was not atheist but agnostic. Science cannot even create an amoeba! What gives science it's arrogance?

I've been reading a deal of the great books and texts. I haven't really read any indian spirituality books like the upanishads or vedas, but I've read plenty from other cultures. Our culture seems to be sinking. of course in every culture, time and space there are a few exceptions, however unfortunate the general rule.

as yusuf islam sings- so poetic and true

You can't bargain with the truth
cause if the world you chose
is no further than your nose
will be where the doorways close in the end

you can't bargain with the truth
because for those who would deceieve
there will be no reprieve
for there will be no time to believe in the end

I would ask for guidance from the unseen. I would seek the hereafter, the reality of realities for is not all else illusion? If the creator blesses, can any man curse? And if the creator curses can any man bless? This is the "god-paradigm" and it is worth reminding oneself of often

a word to the wise- that is all. just a word to the wise
peace and blessings
