Nothing wrong with praying for people, Are you praying that the pet will find it's way home or the owners will find it? If so, keep it going. If your praying that if the animal is hit by a car they will go to heaven, that is a bit wierd. I think what they meant on the prayer card was are you "prying" to "pray" AKA are you using the eccuse you are praying for them as a way to squeeze the last juicy detail of their life into your hand. Are you makeing "prayer groups" behind the peoples backs that would have a more fitting name of gossip group?
