I lost my soulmate in Jan. He was a dog. He is in heaven. When we can't help but cry and we don't know why we cry because we are usually solid responsible people and we can't understand why we cry. We need to remember that when Jesus learned that Lazerith died the Bible said "Jesus wept". Jesus knows that souls go to paradise so why did "Jesus wept"? If Jesus can weep because his friend died that Jesus knew that Jesus was going to resurrect Lazerith then I can weep and baul because my soulmate died and I can't resurrect him and if I did, I would go to the nut house. It seems like after Jesus resurrected Lazerith, that Lazerith only lived 10 years. I knew that my dog would go to heaven but I bauled anyway. I guess that we just can't help it. One thing that did help completely was, I had this urge to put my arms around my dogs neck and hug him and that bothered me because then I could not just keep hugging a dead dog. I had his body in a plastic box (a christmas tree box)Walmart has these plastic boxes at christmas
21" x 14" x 53" ( If you need one for a large pet). The point is, One thing that did help completely was I asked God to help me to stop wanting to put my arms around his neck and the feeling stopped completely and I did not feel like that at all about wanting to put my arms around his neck. We had lived like that. He grew up with my arms around his neck for 16 years. God helped me a lot but I still cryed and sometimes I did not cry. It is 2 3/4 months and I don't cry unless I talk about him.
If anyone has a large pet and you don't want the body to go back to nature you need to get a Christmas tree plastic box when they are available so you will have it when you need it and if it is Christmas you won't have to drive in the middle of the night to get a box.
I hope this helps.
