I can understand these perspectives - some people not wanting to be involved in a "religious ritual," and also someone's name going on a prayer list. When I pray for someone, I practically never tell them I'm doing it - unless they have specifically asked me to pray. My mother always taught me that faith should be a very personal and private thing! So it's a strong habit to keep quiet. RS
