I haven't had a similar experience, but I wanted to welcome you to the board! My spiritual discovery experience came while I was searching for books about the 1960s. I came across a book on Zen Buddhism and remembered that it was big in the 60s, so I bought it. Much of what I read there made so much sense that I started reading more books on Buddhism. Keith
